WCP59 Setting freelance writer goals, Vol. IV: Money goals

Just kidding. That’s in no way a factual statement. It’s certainly not been my personal experience. It is a belief some people have, and it happens to be one that’ll get in your way when it comes to marketing and landing new assignments this month if you think it’s accurate. It’s so much easier to come up with evidence, such as all editors are away on holiday, then to do what it takes to have a really strong finish to the year.
Today’s episode on the Writing Coach Podcast is all about financial goals, and is appropriate at any time of the year. I’m going to ask you some questions you’ve likely never asked yourself before. Are you keen to learn some new ways of approaching your money goals?
Grab your freelance journal for this episode. I’ll walk you through an exercise to help you get a handle on your finances.
